Cookie Policy

What this website stores in your browser, why it is there, and how to remove it.

The short version

This site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure how the site is used. It also stores one small preference in your browser. It sets no advertising cookies of its own and sells nothing to anyone.

Your theme choice

A single entry in your browser's local storage records whether you chose the light or dark version of this site, so your choice survives a page reload. It contains no identifier, it is not sent to our servers, and clearing your browser data removes it. The same mechanism remembers that you dismissed the offer banner.

Google Analytics and Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-3MRRZ6FVJ3) through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-M23L6V7N) to understand which pages are read, how people arrive, and which enquiries come from where. It tells us that a page was useful. It is not used to build an advertising profile of you on this site.

  • Pages visited and the order you visited them in
  • How you arrived — a search, a link, or directly
  • Approximate location, derived from your IP address at country or city level
  • Device, browser and screen size
  • Whether you submitted an enquiry form, recorded as an event with no personal details attached

These are third-party cookies

Google sets its own cookies once you accept, and the data is processed by Google. Their handling of it is governed by Google's own privacy terms, not ours. You can opt out across every site that uses Analytics with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.

How consent works here

The Google container loads with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied for analytics and advertising storage. In that state no analytics or advertising cookies are written and no identifiers are stored. Accepting the banner flips those signals to granted; declining leaves them denied, and we record your choice so you are not asked again.

You can change your mind at any time through Cookie Preferences in the footer, which revokes consent immediately and asks again.

In the denied state Google may still receive a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier attached and nothing stored on your device. That is how Consent Mode is designed to work. If you would rather nothing reached Google at all, block third-party scripts in your browser or use Google’s opt-out add-on linked above.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share your data with advertisers
  • We do not run retargeting or advertising pixels on this site
  • We do not use analytics to identify you personally
  • We do not track you across other websites

Controlling it

Every browser lets you clear and block cookies and local storage, usually under privacy or site data settings. Blocking them stops the analytics and resets the light or dark preference; nothing else on the site depends on them.

Most browsers also send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, and a number of extensions block analytics outright. We do not try to work around either.
